Please join us on Sunday May 10, 2020 at 9:00am for the 3rd Annual Penn Yan Airport Runway 5K! Nestled in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region along the shores of Keuka Lake, this unique race will take place entirely on the airport runways. There will be airplanes on display and event organizers are working with local businesses to offer specials and discounts to encourage runners to come and spend the night in Penn Yan.

Proceeds from this race will benefit the New York State Sheriff's Institute Summer Camp on Keuka Lake. This Summer Camp is for economically challenged children who can benefit from positive interaction from deputy Sheriffs. Information about the Institute and the Summer Camp can be found here:

The 5K race will start and finish on the Penn Yan Airport runway using USATF Certified Course #NY17110KL.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Race day registration and packet pickup will take place at the airport from 7:30am right up until the start of the race at 9:00am. All participants who register by May 4th at 9am are guaranteed to receive an official Penn Yan Airport Runway 5K t-shirt. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Registration Fee:
$25 early bird special through April 30, 2020
$30 5/1/20 through 5/7/20
$35 5/8/20 through race day

POST RACE CELEBRATION
Join us after the race for a post-race celebration including light food/snacks, airplane exhibits, music, and the awards ceremony.

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking at the airport within walking distance of the start/finish line.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers and medals will be presented to the top three male and female 5K runners in each of the following age groups.

14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
